History

Ipswich Adventist School commenced as a small one-room classroom at its current location, Brassall in 1968. The school is committed to a controlled growth cycle to nurture current and future enrolments.  

Governance

Ipswich Adventist School is owned and operated by Seventh-Day Adventist Schools (South Queensland) Ltd. It follows the curriculum guidelines and outcomes set by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority, including responsibilities regarding the Australian curriculum. In addition, we are a member of the Association of Independent Schools Queensland. A strategic management plan informs our school’s future spiritual, academic, cultural, philosophical direction and expansion.  School Advisory  The local administration of the school is delegated to the School Advisory. The Advisory is appointed by the Company Board of Directors and comprises members from surrounding SDA churches, the school principal and at least one representative from the Board of Directors. To bring matters to the Board, please contact the principal who is also secretary of the Advisory.
